Wellness Center Employees Covid Guidelines
The following university policies will be suspended:
- University Human Resources 60.1.36 Immunization Policy for University Affiliates
- Summary: university affiliates – individuals who have a non-employee and non-student relationship with the university. Included are healthcare contractors, non-healthcare contractors, Class 9 employees, and individuals with courtesy appointments. These individuals will no longer be required to be immunized against the COVID-19 virus or seek a health or religious exemption.
- University Human Resources 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees
- Summary: current and prospective employees will no longer be required to be immunized against the COVID-19 virus or seek a health or religious exemption
- Student Health Services 10.3.14 COVID-19 Immunization Record Requirement for Students
- Summary: current and prospective students will no longer be required to be immunized against the COVID-19 virus or seek a health or religious exemption. Note that ALL other vaccine requirements remain in effect.
Covered Individuals (CI’s) – clinical students, faculty, and staff – will no longer be required to be vaccinated or have a valid medical or religious exemption against COVID-19. Pre-employment screening for flu immunization during flu season will continue. Students in some programs may have continued requirements for clinical placements outside of Rutgers.

- Please remove COVID-19 immunization language from faculty, post-doctoral associate, TA/GA, and all offer letters.
