From the Director

Welcome to Rutgers University, Camden Campus, where we believe “Social Belonging Matters.” At the Student Wellness Center, we elevate this belief using a “Support for All” mindset. All of our services, activities, programs, and events prioritize and ensure that we are aligned with our campus, divisional and departmental missions, and goals.
Our two primary initiatives are Wellness Your Way and PCP Away From Home.
Wellness Your Way provides a pathway for students to take control of their mental and emotional wellbeing by choosing a point of entry that makes sense for them. The Wellness Centers offers anonymous support services, access to online platforms and community spaces, a wellness APP to assess and track your wellbeing, Wellness Wednesday student engagement opportunities and traditional mental health services – individual, group, walk-in appointments, acute and crisis services, psychological assessment, and psychiatric care.
PCP Away From Home is our opportunity to serve you while you are away from home. We offer a full service integrated medical center to meet your needs. You can access your primary care services with one of our medical professionals which includes a Physician, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, and a Registered Nurse. We have the ability to manage your care while on campus, coordinate care with your current treatment team and support you with locating appropriate referrals in the community. Additionally, we offer specialty clinics to support your ongoing health care needs related to immunizations, sexual health, compliance with residential housing and required physical examinations. Finally, we offer Wellness Checks for all students to get a quick status update anytime.
Remember, to stop by and take advantage of the many free services available to you!
