Shantae Brockington

I’m originally from the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia, PA, and I’m a proud 2001 graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School. After high school, I attended Florida A&M University (FAMU) for two years, where I had the opportunity to grow and learn in a dynamic environment. I’ve worked in a variety of fields, each with one common thread: a commitment to serving and uplifting others. From customer service to corrections, & the medical field, I’ve gained valuable experience working with diverse communities and meeting the unique needs of each individual.

My approach for student engagement

Student engagement to me would be creating an environment that nurtures & motivating others to be the best version of themselves. Whether through a supportive conversation & offering guidance. I believe by allowing people to feel their voice is valued, I provide a space for self-expression and personal accomplishment. I ensure that every encounter that I have with individuals is an opportunity to make a positive impact, and I strive to ensure that each one is the best it can be. I’m passionate about helping others reach their full potential and believe that with the right support, every person can achieve greatness.
