My Approach to Treatment
Hunter believes that therapy is what you make of it. To this end, he values creating a safe, authentic connection to progress toward goals and alleviate concerns. Hunter is skilled at working with individuals to gain insight into the relationship between their thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and actions. He works best with individuals who are growth-oriented, seeking to overcome obstacles and better their lives, long term. When working with you, Hunter will help explore your everyday experience, provide adaptive skills and tools, and help reorient you to a happier way of being. Hunter holds that the best therapist is one that works towards going out of business, helping you take your wellbeing into your own hands, developing your own internal counselor.
